parties and volunteer management: Together or alone?

What do non-professional organizations (such as Red Cross, Greenpeace , etc.) and companies have in common?
corporate culture, staff development and volunteer management.
is the case of companies' corporate Grass Roots "in NPOs" volunteer management.
And what's at parties? Nothing.

How to find officials, party members and volunteers, managed, coordinates and is motivated by parties unknown. As can be otherwise explain that volunteers working people with good ideas that want to participate, often withdrawing and resigned to give up. And I'm not myself , but many other great people around me who have retired recently from the party.

Volunteers want to be cared for permanently

Whenever election, then the parties need lots of volunteers and staff who will provide us time, money and manpower available. But an ongoing Care in simple terms such as birthday greetings to members, current events, or even members visits do not occur. We are constantly trying to convince new people to its own (ideological) ideas rather than the existing loyal members and supporters to attend. Too little is seen on its own members to bring it to get your wishes, ideas and needs.

Why engage volunteers?

plays, especially in political parties in the network, the design intent and the political affiliation an important role. But just as in companies also want volunteers to be recognized and motivated. It comes in parties often only the recognition by official agencies and distinctions in question. Who
year (tenth) elang the good party soldiers (or the-soldier) where, given a certificate of honor or a silver or gold medals. But what is current with the recognition? That "Thanks to a political category, is well known. But esteem, participation in decision making and recognition culture should be in politics (especially of the ÖVP) arrive. It can not be that motivated and competent members of their desire to lose the (voluntary eh!) Work.

"Good forms of recognition, there can be only if the organization exists in a 'culture' of recognition. A culture produced by growing norms, values, and jointly developed assumptions and is based on an organizational culture "
