Spend just definitely our last day in Invercargill, the southernmost city in New Zealand real (50.000).

went before Inverargill through the Catlins, the wild south-east of New Zealand ... ! Wonderfully beautiful! This corner is probably the real New Zealand, as you might imagine ... green hills, lots of sheep, Rocks, little people ...

then also the southernmost point the South Island, Point Slope happened. lies almost exactly between the equator and south pole ... every 5000 km in both directions ...
Only Tierra del Fuego and the adjacent part of South America are south as the Cape of Good Hope we ... and Tasmania are north:)
It's a really fascinating piece of this very fascinating country ... perhaps the nicest part I have seen so far ....
and Fiordland (Milford so . Soundusw) and the west coast are still to come:) ...
